1. Who is this retreat for?
The retreat is for enthusiasts of Haitian dance and folkloric culture who are also adventurous seekers of wellness and rejeuvenation.

2. What is the duration and location of the retreat?
The retreat and celebration spans seven days from April 9 - 16, 2024, and will be hosted at The Reef 28 resort in the Caribbean coastal town of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. 

3. How do I get there?
You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).  Our driver will meet you upon exiting the airport.  The ride to Playa del Carmen is about 45 minutes to an hour, and you'll be taken directly to the retreat site. 

4. Can I expect relaxation and self-care activities during the retreat?
Absolutely!  The retreat is an opportunity for relaxation and self-care. In addition to the classes and workshops, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy beach time, spa sessions, daily yoga, and exploring the area.

5. What types of workshops and discussions will be included?
The retreat features Dancing Spirits movement sessions.  Each will focus on a different Haitian folkloric rhythm and dance.  There will also be workshops in Vodou songs, spiritual baths, and other functional aspects of traditional practice.

Playa del Carmen offers a perfect blend of stunning natural beauty, vibrant culture, and modern infrastructure. The coastal town provides a serene and inspiring backdrop for this retreat that combines professional development with relaxation. 7. What level of accommodations can I expect?
Our retreat ensures your comfort and satisfaction. We have carefully selected accommodations that provide a blend of luxury, tranquility, and convenience. You'll have the opportunity to relax and recharge in comfortable and well-appointed surroundings.

8. Is transportation provided during the retreat?
Ground transportation to and from the retreat location is included from Cancun International Airport (CUN).  All other ground transportation is also included to and from activities and excursions.

9. Is there a limit to the number of participants for the retreat?
Yes, space is limited to ensure an intimate and personalized experience for each participant. We recommend registering early to secure your spot and avoid disappointment.
